Hotaru is a first -year high school student who keeps her family and friends above all. Unable to understand romance, she decides that she would be a living material without the experience of falling in love.
While Hotaru is spending time in a cafe with his close friend, he is a beautiful honor student, a witness to Hananoi's tireless breakup. Sitting alone in snow on the way to her house, she takes her umbrella to her in a gesture of kindness.
The next day, Hananoi appears in Hotaru's orbit, asking him to become his girlfriend.
