Hotaru is a first -year high school student who keeps her family and friends above all. Unable to understand romance, she decides that she would be a living material without the experience of falling in love.
While Hotaru is spending time in a cafe with his close friend, he is a beautiful honor student, a witness to Hananoi’s tireless breakup. Sitting alone in snow on the way to her house, she takes her umbrella to her in a gesture of kindness.
The next day, Hananoi appears in Hotaru’s orbit, asking him to become his girlfriend. Despite being rejected, Hananoi is closely affixed to Hotaru, performing selfless work in the hope of pleasing him. Hotaru begins to feel emotions that he had never felt before. Assuming that these emotions may blossom in love, Hotaru agrees to date Hananoi.
